Filothei ResidenceFilothei, Athens

The lighting design of this luxury residence in Filothei, Athens, creates a welcoming and contemporary atmosphere, where every element enhances both the premium aesthetic and the functional experience of the space for a family of four.

Track and linear recessed lighting systems deliver visual comfort and define spatial continuity across the sophisticated living and dining areas. Complemented by concealed LED strips throughout the living and dining area, they create a warm and inviting atmosphere. The integrated spotlights highlight key art pieces throughout the residence. In the library, LED strips accentuate the textured background and the curated objects, transforming this area into a striking centerpiece upon entering the residence.

In the private areas, lighting has been carefully layered to balance function and mood. The Bella by Panzeri elevates the bedroom with a minimal and contemporary elegance, while discreet yet powerful luminaires in the bathrooms compensate for limited natural light. Playful yet sophisticated Artemide lamps, including Pierce and Calipso, enrich the children’s rooms with character.

Hallway courtesy lights ensure a well-defined path, while the kitchen is illuminated by recessed luminaires for clear, practical lighting.

Integrated discreet spotlights within the balcony greenery enhance depth and atmosphere throughout the outdoor space.

A DALI system allows seamless general and individual control, enabling tailored lighting scenarios that respond to the daily life of the family. The design strategy embraces a triple purpose: enhancing the apartment’s luxury aesthetic, establishing an ambient and comfortable environment, and fulfilling the practical lighting needs of each space.
