Prolight was appointed from the earliest stages of the lighting design for M/Y Dream, a 106-metre mega yacht ranked among the 37 largest in the world, awarded Gold at the Lighting Design Awards 2020.
Designed by Milan-based CQS interior design studio, the yacht spans five decks and accommodates 36 guests and 40 crew across a sophisticated, highly curated environment that includes a pool bar, home cinema, gym, beauty parlour, helipad and diving centre.
The lighting solution was bespoke throughout. 95% of all specified fixtures were customised to meet the project’s requirements and the owner’s vision, from individual fittings to an integrated lighting control and entertainment system. Fixtures were sourced from Artemide, Castaldi, Lucitalia, Nexia and Advanced Fiber Optics, selected for both technical performance and aesthetic alignment with the interior.
The result is a lighting scheme that moves seamlessly between function and atmosphere across every space on board.
