Rolling Greens is Costa Navarino’s latest proposal for luxury resort living. Prolight delivered the lighting design and supply for all 42 privately owned villas within this exclusive neighborhood, located at the heart of the resort.

The Rolling Greens development represents refined architectural excellence, designed by three leading Greek studios: Buerger Katsota Architects, Thymio Papayannis & Associates, and ISV Architects. Beginning in 2019, this long-term collaboration called for a lighting design approach that would enhance the distinctive character of each residence while supporting a sustainable, context-driven architectural vision.

Working alongside the architectural teams from the early concept stage through final implementation, Prolight ensured that every lighting element was seamlessly integrated into the surrounding landscape and the architectural language of Costa Navarino.

The lighting design for the 19 villas by Buerger Katsota Architects focused on integration, visual comfort, and sustainability, complementing the innovative bioclimatic architecture with bespoke, sophisticated lighting solutions.

With expansive openings overlooking the Ionian Sea and The Dunes Course, inviting natural daylight deep into the interiors, the lighting strategy was designed to complement and extend the dialogue between architecture and natural light.

Each villa’s lighting scheme prioritizes seamless architectural integration, high-performance luminaires with superior color rendering, exceptional visual comfort through soft, glare-free lighting, and flexibility through intuitive lighting scenarios.

Lighting is discreetly integrated into the architecture, preserving the villas’ clean lines while bringing the surrounding landscape to life after dark without disturbing its natural balance.
