Sandblu ResortSantorini, Greece

Sandblu is an idyllic resort in Kamari Santorini, a seaside village on the southeastern coast of Santorini, offering guests breathtaking views of the Aegean Sea. The resort features cascading geometric architecture that appears to tumble down the mountain to meet the sea. A seamless interplay between cliffs and coastline, guided by the natural topography.

To create a fluid transition from cliffs to coast, Sandblu embraces the beauty of the outdoors within its interiors. Natural local stone, whitewashed wood, and luxurious marble blend with soft tones of blue and sage, creating a dialogue with the surrounding environment.

Lighting plays a vital role in shaping the guest experience, subtle, layered, and thoughtfully integrated to complement the architectural language. From ambient glows that echo the Santorini sunset to focused highlights that enhance textures and materials, the lighting design creates a sense of intimacy and calm, guiding movement and mood throughout the day and night.

The aesthetic is minimalist and instantly calming. The hotel features spacious, elegantly appointed rooms and suites, designed with a modern Greek aesthetic. Discreet, refined lighting was used to evoke the warmth and softness of natural sunlight, enhancing the serene atmosphere of each space.

This is a luxury retreat where architecture, nature, and light exist in perfect balance.
