The lighting design for the TYPET office building for the National Bank of Greece was conceived to reinforce its architectural identity while expressing the institution’s enduring presence within the urban fabric. The concept reveals the façade’s disciplined geometry through precisely controlled warm and linear uplighting, integrated at the base of the vertical structural elements.

The vertical lighting highlights the building’s façade rhythm and enhances its depth, proportions, and materials without overpowering the overall architectural design. A calibrated balance of light and shadow allows the building’s form to emerge with restraint, conveying solidity and composure.

Rather than uniform illumination, the design selectively emphasizes key structural features, reinforcing the hierarchy of the architectural framework and strengthening its three-dimensional presence. The result is elegant, contemporary, and understated nightime image, establishing a subtle landmark that reflects permanence, reliability, and architectural refinement associated with the National Bank of Greece.
